CBS’s Aspiring Instructor’s program is the first time Meagan has studied dog behaviour and training. This force free and cooperative care relationship with animals fits well with the gentle manual techniques she uses to help bodies make change for their best function in her work. Understanding dog body language and communication through CBS’s education program has significantly improved the way Meagan works with dogs for better outcomes.
Meagan has always been surrounded by animals, having provided a home for many rescue rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens and a few dogs. She is a vegan animal rights activist, because everyone should be able to live happy and healthy lives and has volunteered for many organisations and campaigns including Animals Australia and the campaign to ban horse jumps racing in SA. Currently Meagan has only one very geriatric guinea pig at home, so she especially loves meeting all of the dogs at CBS and watching the human-dog understanding strengthen.
