Born into a family of dog trainers, Jo’s passion for dogs started at a very young age leading her to become an instructor by the age of 19.  She has enjoyed the companionship of many dogs over the years and competed in a wide range of dog sports including Tricks, Dances with Dogs, Tracking, Track and Search, Endurance, Canine Conditioning Fitness, Obedience and Rally competitions. 

She currently shares her life with a young Bernese Mountain Dog called Roxy who is sassy, affectionate, loves to play, sniff and learn tricks and who very much keeps her on her toes. 

Jo is a Licensed ANKC Track and Search Judge and qualified Trick Dog Instructor (DN-DTI). She is currently Vice President of the Tracking Dog Club of SA and Secretary of the Dances with Dogs Club of SA, a member of Dogs SA, South Australian Canine Association, The Bernese Mountain Dog of SA and the Musical Dog Sport Association.

Each of her dogs throughout the years has been unique and taught her a more meaningful understanding of canine learning, behaviour and connection and Jo finds joy in helping others discover this bond and connection with their own animals.
