Jo’s passion for dogs started at a very young age leading her to become an instructor by the age of 19.  She has enjoyed the companionship of many dogs over the years and competed in a wide range of dog sports including Tricks, Dances with Dogs, Tracking, Track and Search, Endurance, Canine Conditioning Fitness, Obedience and Rally competitions. Each of her dogs throughout the years has been unique and taught her a more meaningful understanding of canine learning, behaviour and connection and Jo finds joy in helping others discover this bond and connection with their own animals.

She currently shares her life with a young Bernese Mountain Dog called Roxy who is sassy, affectionate, loves to explore, and be involved in everything that is happening.

Jo is an Accredited Canine Training Technician through the Pet Professional Accreditation Board, holds the Competency Assessment Program Level 2 credential, is a Licensed ANKC Track and Search Judge, and a Qualified Trick Dog Instructor. She is currently a member of Dogs SA, The Tracking Dog Club of SA, The Dances with Dogs Club of SA and the Pet Professional Guild.
