Jan was lucky to find CBS on the advice of a vet when she adopted her first rescue dog. She says that CBS transformed their relationship. Her dog learned to trust her & look to her for guidance when anxious rather than running away. Naturally she turned to CBS when her next rescue dog found her. Impressed with the scientific, evidence based approached to training that encourages empathy & positive training methods, she joined CBS as an instructor.

Jan enjoys learning & being challenged with new ideas and a dog centred approach. She is a member of the Pet Professional Guild and after completing CBS’s Aspiring Instructor Program has now attained her Canine Training Technician-Accredited through the Pet Professional Accreditation Board (PPAB).
